Art-2007
    My name is Art Hirschel.
I have hunted, fished and trapped over much of Alaska as well as many other states.  I have guided for many years and hold registered license #1078.
I take only a few hunters every year enabling me to offer personal service, flexibility and quality hunting.
My camps are tailored to the need and can consist of heated wall tents, large dome tents or smaller spike camp tents.  We do not scrimp on food, but provide high quality foods ranging from freeze-dried meals to fresh cooked meals.,
I personally guide many clients.  My other guides are experienced Alaskan hunters and guides, fully licensed by Alaska.
My hunts are all operated under fair chase and ethical standards.  I use airplanes for pre-season scouting and transportation, but generally, once we are hunting we refrain from spotting from the air.
My hunts are usually very physical in nature.  We hunt the old-fashioned way....on foot.  We walk and climb often 10 miles a day.  It is imperative that the hunter prepare for REAL hunting, not driving around in a pickup truck or riding a horse all day.  However, the satisfaction of testing oneself is worthwhile and results in a genuine TROPHY hunting experience in Alaska.
